Cookie policy
What this site stores in your browser, why, and how to control it.
Effective
The short version
This site sets one cookie, and only so that an enquiry can be tied to the page that brought you here. It sets no advertising cookies and does not track you across other sites. Three other things can store data in your browser, each only when it is used: the booking calendar on Let's talk, if you open it; a YouTube player, if you press play on a video; and our host's security check, if it is ever triggered.
What is stored
- A visit identifier from GoHighLevel (LeadConnector), the system where we keep our contacts. Its tracking script sets a first-party cookie for the duration of your visit, so that if you send the enquiry form we can see the page you arrived on, the site that referred you and any campaign tags in the address. It is not used for advertising and is not shared with advertising networks.
- Nothing from Vercel Web Analytics. Our visit counter works without cookies and without identifying you.
- Nothing of our own. The site keeps no settings, preferences or form drafts in your browser.
- A security check from Vercel, only if it is triggered. When our host suspects automated traffic, it can ask your browser to pass a check, and set a cookie that remembers it passed. It is used for nothing else.
- GoHighLevel's booking calendar, only if you open it. The "Book a 30-min call" tab on Let's talk loads the calendar from links.westwoodintl.com, a GoHighLevel service on our own domain, which may store data in your browser to run the booking. If you never open the tab, it does not load.
- YouTube, only if you play a video. Talks on some pages show a still image served from this site. Pressing play loads YouTube's player from youtube-nocookie.com, which can store data in your browser under Google's privacy policy. If you never press play, nothing from YouTube loads.
Vimeo, Amazon, LinkedIn and the other sites we link to set nothing here: their pages open on their own sites. The recordings you can play straight from this site — the radio interviews and the film behind the home page — are served from it, and playing them stores nothing.
How to control it
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies and other stored data, for every site or for this one; look under privacy or site settings. Blocking them changes nothing you can do on this site, including sending the form.
Changes and questions
If the site starts storing anything else, this page changes first. Questions go to getstarted@westwoodintl.com. The privacy statement explains what happens to the data an enquiry carries.
